Fantasy Faire 2026 Farewell - A time for Endings....

And yet beginnings...

BUT FIRST, Holy crap the reasons this post took a few weeks to get out. I took a short break after Faire ended to process as, it was a lot! And in that time, my computer had a memory link issue and then an attempt to fix that caused it it to get stuck in a repair loop while trying to start windows. Basically it became an expensive paperweight.

Thank EVERYTHING I had backed up files just 3 days before it happened. Only really lost one day of an importance for my SL logs. Also thankfully the computer I was using before that one still worked, so I was still able to get on and do things. But its internet card was dying. It did not connect at fast speeds. It took almost an hour to get my Anniversary photo uploaded. There was no way I could get full albums uploaded. Also ALSO thankfully, Eldorzi was able to help me get a new computer. So That's what I'm on now! But resetting and reinstalling everything up has taken a bit of time.

But its all settled now, mostly.

SO lets get into things! First up from the webpage Fantasy Faire 2026 earned L$24,177,086 by the time it was over for Relay for Life. That's $99310.70

I'm a little pitchy but to be fair, I only had a week with the song to get it down. Would I do it again? Hell yeah!

Children of Stories this year was something else. The story was tied back to the fairelands itself. And the recent repetitive appearances of the Golden Hour the past several years. And the children where to work out why, as squires to the Bard Queens knights. But things took a turn and in the end. We lost the Guardian of Fire Cole. He sacrificed himself to save the fairelands. It was an intense and emotional role play in parts. But also fun and playful. And I can't wait for next years!

We already have the dates for next year as well! which, I cant find right now.

But as always, each year a Faire full of memories goes back into the mists. But we know that, Junction will rise again and bring with it new realms to explore and enjoy.

Till then...we shall meet each other in the Golden Dream.
