Ravenshard ~ a Fantasy Faire Sim

Ravenshard is fantasy whimsical world from the mind of Mayah Parx, of Epic Toy Factory who both created it and sponsered it

And like last year, I want to eat parts of her Fantasy Faire Sim she created.

SLURL and shop list at this link

Mayah created a world based on a whole lotta Dr Seuss, * I WANT A TRUFFULA TREE!! SO BAD, but I can't figure out if they are for sale someplace or not*, but also some Burton and Carol. It's a fabulous mishmash of fantasy that just WORKS. Pools of chocolate, truffula trees, wacky buildings, some with FEET, and just all around fabulousness. If you look you may even spot the Lorax!

Even the windlight setting is wacky fantastic, with multicolored clouds scrolling across the sky at full speed!

If you can figure out why I took this shot then you know me very well!

You can see all of my photos of the sim at this link

And because I added a video to my post about Mayah's sim last year..here is one that matches this years!

Kouse’s Sanctum and NAMINOKE in Lotus Valley Dreams

Kouse is one of my favorite designers in Secondlife, so of COURSE I had to snap up one of her relay gowns. I chose the one named Ophelia because I liked the lil hat and the sleeves, but she has three lovely gowns to chose from. I just only picked up the one.

For the record Kouse also made my glasses you see me in. They are named for me and found under her jewelry brand Krystal. I love them so much.

You can get to her main store by following this slurl and her store on the sim is at the border of Lotus Valley and Lumenaria

For my other outfit, I chose an oriental one to match the theme of the sim. I selected a new to me designer named NAMINOKE and her cute mini kimono she was offering called Lotus Dawn. I love how it shifts and moves.

You can get to her main store at this SLURL and her store on Lotus Dream is near the boarder of Lotus Dream and Ravenshard.

Also on the sim is another of my favorite designers Caverna Obscura  . I owned one of her relay offerings already and in fact showed it off at this post here earlier in the month. I adore Elvina work enough to want to give her a shot out even if I am not showing OFF her work in this post. Her store is near kouse's on the sim

Again you can get to Lotus Valley Dreams via the SLURL there. It has a map but I told you how to get to these stores!

Lotus Valley Dreams ~ a Fantasy Faire sim

Lotus Valley Dream is an oriental fantasy of a sim designed and sponsored by Marcus Inkpen & Sharni Azalee of The Looking Glass

SLURL and shop list is at this link

Like Magnificat this sim is a horse shoe shape going around water, however instead of ships sailing into the sunset, Lotus features a giant glowing lotus blossom being entwined by an oriental red dragon. A simply breath taking sight.

Docks with boats, little nooks with fountains, statues, and duckies are scattered about the sim. It makes for a pleasantly calming experience.

Also on the sim is the Steelhead Associated Adventures club run by the Quest for the golden Prim. Which is a comic shot mostly in Steelhead's sims. My teahouse made an a background appearance once! I took a few photos of it and they can be seen starting here

::{Elysium}:: and Meero's on Lumenaria

I have two things to show you also from Lumenaria. One is a gown one is...not!

Lets start with the gown. It's by ::{Elysium}:: as is the horns and garland I am wearing. Both relay offerings. The gown is called Maenad while the matching wreath and antler, have no real name.

I love this gown, but then I am a sucker for gowns with flowers on them, and the blue roses are a lovely touch. The matching antlers also come in a version with just the garland, but I like the birdy on them so antler kitty it is!

I really like the styling of the gown and I don't think I have anything else by them so I may just have to go take a look at what else they have to offer at their main store.

Next up, something a little different for me, A breedble! ..Now I have done the breedbles critters in the past, and in fact i have some kitty cats on my land right now. The past two years relay kitties.

Now I tried Meeros at one point, but I think I did so at a busy time for me and just got overwhelmed and gave up. I do think they are adorable and worth it if you want to give it a go. I love the sounds they make and the storyline that comes with them!

I was given a blogger pack by them to review and so I shall so. It came with two random plants and a starter set of meero nest, food and home stone. I did not fully open up the starter set. The plants though, are quite lovely and would make nice plants to have about your land even if you do not have any Meeros.

As I didn't uuh..hatch, my meero, and my memory sucks, I can't remember if the meero you get in the pack is an exclusive to Fantasy faire coat or not.

Now their store on Lumenaria is SOOO adorable! I love it a lot. really shows off the plants and the meeros themselves. In fact outside they have one I WANT SO MUCH!

FAIRY MEERO!..at least that is what it looks like to me. SO ADORABLE!!

And like I said the inside is just as great

So go check out the Meeros, I Believe they have a few meero type decorations to offer as well, statues of the cute critters. And if you want to give raising them a go check out their main sim to learn more!

~The Library~ at Lumenaria

YAY look! I have at last gotten to one of my other assigned stores! And I could not be happier to have gotten them. They are a rebranded store and restarting, but for the life of me I can't remember from what it used to be..

All of the dresses I got from The Library are mesh, and very well done. Each one unique and quite lovely. The designers behind the new line are DreamFantasia Nightfire and Augurer, working as a team to create a variety of dress styles.

You can get to their main shop via this SLURL

and their shop on Lumenaria is close to the border between Lumenaria and the valley of Ishnar.

They provided me with three lovely gowns to show you, all relay offerings. And I forgot to switch to normal wind light instead of the sim windlight to show you the proper colors of the dresses, except for one of them.

The first one here is called Brett and to me has a somewhat 20's style to it. It comes in two colors and I am showing off the pink one.

next up is a fantasy gown named after the sorceress Circe! It's my fav of the three outfits. It comes with a headpiece and armbands!

The last dress is called Tremaine ..and I have to wonder if it is named for Cinderella's stepfamily! But then I am known for being a bit of a Disney geek.

Do check out their shop!!

Lumenaria ~ A fantasy faire Sim

Wooohh, posting later then I meant to today!

The sim of Lumenaria is a bright sunny town in the mist of a festival to the sun. The sim was designed by Kayle Matzerath of ~*GOD*~ Garden of Dreams and sponsored by rynn Verwood of Solarium

SLURL, Map and Store list can all be found at this link

This sim is bright and happy and full of love and joy and you can tell that by just walking into it. I love it, the town and its decorations to the sun remind me a lot of Tangled, and that's one of my favorite Disney movies.
Bright clumps of flowers *I want some!* are all scattered about, along with floating bunches of balloons. The central fountain and park is quite lovely and peaceful. And, some of the time, flying over the sim is a large dragon carrying a boat that hosts Fantasy faire radio! The purple dragon's name, I have been told, is Meowie, or possibly Shahara, I got given two names :P

This sim seems to be the "breedables" sim as it has at least two of them on it! Meero's and Dwarfins, not sure if any others that I am not aware of are on it. I don't think any other sim had any on it.

The Key of Hope Hunt part one ~ a Fantasy Faire Event

Now, as I am going clockwise around the sims, the next sim after Dragonspire is the Valley of Ish`nar.

however I will not be showing you this sim, not yet. Why? It is not fully open yet. Why? It's part of the Key of Hope Hunt that Mad Peas Produced for the faire!

So what am i going to be showing you? The hunt part one! Which does include part of the Valley of Ish`nar.

What I am NOT going to do is tell you exactly where to find the items for the hunt. What I WILL be doing is s showing you what you get for your 100L donation to Relay For Life that you pay to get the Hud to DO the prize. Which, to put it mildly, is a LOT, just one prize alone I know is worth over 2000L!!

You can buy the hud at the landing point of all the sims, but to activate it you have to go to the Ruins of the queens came in Ish`nar, which coincidently, is IT'S landing point! Which is right here, well slightly off I'm not standing smack on the landing point, that's rude.

Go inside this area, find a small scroll on a desk and click it. That activates your hud. Then once the text on it rezes click each ingredient and follow the landmark and the clue to find each item! Some are trickier then others, there is apparently a different Egg that trips up some people in Dragonspire.

The open hud looks like this

Now, I did take photos of each place your looking for, but I tried real hard to make sure to not give away the exact location. I know sometimes it makes things easier to know what you are looking for LOOKS like though. So if you want those visual hints CLICK HERE

Once you have found all of the items, which you don't physically GET but they get crossed off your hud, return the the ruins and click the treasure chest on the hud.

You'll get nine prizes plus a key to start the second half of the quest, which starts tomorrow.

What all do you get? Well here is a mega pulled back view of eight of the nine items. Why so far back? some of them are HUGE.

You can see close ups of all of the prizes except one starting here Why did I leave off one? It's a hatchable wearable critter by Khyle Sion, but you have to wear an egg on your hud for an hour first! And it hasn't hatched for me yet!

I will Cover the Valley of Ish`nar sim when I cover Part two of the hunt! Since then I will have access to all of it and not the just path from Dragonspire to Lumenaria

I have to say I have had SO much fun doing this hunt. I made new friends! We kept seeing each other at the time locations and so we just started helping each other out. Others are doing the hunt in style as well, yesterday I was sitting in Titan's writing up a blog post and a group on the hunt passed me. All dressed like people from Monty Python and talking like them too! I wish they had rezed in enough for a photo before they left, they where a HOOT. But traveled on quickly.

Elvenbreath and Sparkle Skye Designs in the DragonSpire sim

The two outfits I bring to you from the Dragonspire are fun fairy type outfits. I love them both and so glad I picked them up.

The first is a floral outfit, I can't remember the flower it's inspired by though. A mesh dress called Paenya and is one of the Relay offerings by ~Elvenbreath~ I love the dangling parts!

The second outfit I have to show off is also a Relay offering, this time by Sparkle Skye Designs, you can pick it up in two different colors from a Relay kiosk and also several others not in the kiosks. it's called Iris Fairy Mesh Dress and It is fantastic. I love the shading on it.

I paired it with a pose prop from Musa called Enchanted Moon, which you can pick up on their store in Magnificat.

The DragonSpire ~ A fantasy Faire Sim

Getting lost was never so much fun as it is in the crystal filled caverns of The DragonSpire! Designed by Khyle Sion of ~Refined Wild~ and Sponsored by The Arcanum The sim is worthy of ANY dragon.

IN fact when Adar saw me in it over my shoulder he was all COOL SIM!!

SLURL, store list and map can be found here. Map is of the stores only not the maze!

The sim build is in two parts basically, the horseshoe tunnel that the shops are in, and the winding confusing d labyrinth under them them. I got so lost! Both areas have many glowing crystals lining them. while the shops also have some cave plants growing in them.

There is also an underground pond and stream, as well as a dragons hoard that you have to look real hard to find!

I had lots of fun in this sim just wandering. But it CAN be tricky at times so be careful when you go exploring! It's got a landing point so if you TP out and back in you end up in at the landing point, not where you left off at!

Wasn't going to skip this even with all the fantasy faire blogging, BUT I did not go explore a separate sim :P

Manatee as a color showed up in 1998 and is found in the 120 boxes and up. And I am being a lazy Fae kitty and not looking up more :P

The outfit I have on is a fun one, the yellow dot things around me, which yes are part of the dress, have a pulsing bit of yellow glow that spirals around it. And I knew it needed the new pose from Two cats I picked up at Fantasy faire! Perfect!
