Right now I sit in the camp at Amethyst Rift with Strifeclaw and some of the members of the SEE as we spend the last few open hours of the faire telling stories and chatting.

I am so proud to be a part of this group within the Fantasy Faire itself. Which I am also proud to be a part of, every year I consider it a huge honor that I am chosen to be a part of the Official blogging team.

And every year a seek out the Children of stories as they are an amazing group of roleplayers that help so many with the stories they told. And this years was no different. You can read all about the rp that the children of stories did this year here.

The Children of Stories raised 2,264,550 lindens for Relay for life. Which was just mind blowing. And the story we told helped many in a range of ways.

Overall the faire raised over 23,600 000 lindens. which is close to 100,000 USD. Its been, an amazing year of record amounts being raised. So much money to help those with Cancer. So much hope brought to others.

I may go for one last walk through the fairelands this year. Taken in their beauty before they fade into the mists and say goodbye to them. I know the fairelands will return next year. New ones full of life and stories. With Junction to tie us all together. But it is always sad to see the old ones fade. Its why I take so many photos. And why I enjoy getting bits and pieces of them to take home. To help remember them always.

The Fairelands Quest Region

DO THE QUEST ITS SO WORTH IT YOU HAVE TILL THE TWELFTH!

The first half of the quest will take you around the sims to the shopping regions looking for birds. Then its off to this AMAZING sim , the Seventh Valley to, again look for birds, but also solve puzzles!

The sim itself is a just. breathtaking forest with all manner of birds in it. Use the sim EEP, as when you approach the temple at the end it changes to something SPECTACULAR.

Lots and lots to get here! Skins of course as it has Fallen Gods and a few other skin stores. Stunning clothing and decor and even animations!

All the animations I used for these sims photo are by Astalianda from one of their Valhalla pose sets! They are amazing poses and if you use bento wings or tails some even pose those too! My wings are not bento so it didn't use those.

This is the first of two outfits by deviousMind . Both outfits are faire exclusive colors! So get em while you can! this outfit here is Cosma in Moonstone . Its a really cute babydoll that comes with the star and hourglass with stars. There is also a BOM star field tattoo as well. I'm also wearing one of Wasabi's new hairs called Mersia

This simple but elegant gown is by ::c*C*c::: and is named for the Norse goddess Frig . You can wear it with and with out the sleeves. I paired it with On a Lark's Anemone Collar. Which comes in both scripted and unscripted versions. You can see a close up of it at this link here

This is the second of deviousMind's relay outfits This one is Asteria in rainbow. And I just love it so much. The colors the jewelery the shape! Just fantastic! With it I have on the other of Wasabi's new hair called Kyo which comes in both male and female sizes!

The mighty halls of the fallen warriors. That is Valhalla. And Alia, as one expects out of his builds, built an awe inspiring sim. Towering statues, Runes scattered about. The Bifrost and world tree. And crows. Lots and lots of crows.

This sim has a mini daily rune master quest on it. Which, I have not done. Didn't even know about it for the first few days. wish I had! I now wonder if you get anything for doing it EVERY day.

This is a full avatar by Hopscotch, its not in the relay vendor but its to much of a lumbering bit of fun to not show it off. It's called a Stalkie and I have it in the Gigantic size. It comes in a range of sizes all the way down to a small animesh version. IT comes with its own ao and is just...I like just slowly walking about in it.

Yin Yang is a nice gorgeous calming sim to go and relax and explore when you need a break. Sit under the wisteria trees and watch the water lap about the dragon statue as it rises up into the air. Or the clouds and stars shifting about in the sky. Stunning build. Nice and calming.

The first item I have to show you all is a Matched Set by Roped Passions. This is Aram & Almira. Almira also comes with a beaded veil that didn't work that great on me.

The next matched set is this Norse influenced set by //R3D//. the top and pants are Viking Tunic Einar and it comes in sizes for male and female bodies. The boots are sold separately and are called Runar. I am also holding Mini A Chuu Props's Shield of Asselin. While Adar is holding a bow and arrow from CKit Falconry over on Khol Dracys called Soul of aVayne that I forgot to put on him earlier. He asked for it specifically. It also has an animesh quiver with the dragon head on it that moves and chats at you in local.

First off you WANT to get the hud for this sim. It uses EEP but the hud make it switch between lightings depending n what area you are in! Which is dead clever and some fancy scripting! Its at both entrances and the landing zone!

There is also a Sim quest that has to do with the yeti and the legend of the warrens! IF you have some time go and do it! Its free! But leave a donation in the relay box near it! Thats what we're here for after all.

Now onto the sim itself. The scrimshaw in its name are on the bones of a giant eastern dragon that lays at the bottom of the warrens. Guarded by a tribe of yeti. That sing to it as you wander the warrens. It is amazing and I do recommend turning your music off and just listening to the song of the Yeti for a bit. It's a very haunting effect!

When you go up top of the warrens its a snowy landscape int he mountains with some buildings to explore and track down.

Dinos and dragons and outfits oh my! Lots and lots to get here! Oddly the main shop that sponsored the sim. Battle Beasts. seems to have never gotten properly set up. But there are still giant reptiles for sale in other shops!

The first outfit I have for you all is one of two by Lurve. This one is a fairy dress and wreath outfit called Spring Fantasy Dress. It also comes iwht some wings but I never do wear those.

The next outfit by them is a warrior outfit called Valkyrie Spirit. I paired with it this AMAZING bow and arrow set called RavenSoul Bow. Now for some Decor! From Dawn's Kingdom they have four of their decor animesh dinosaurs in relay vendors! I've got the T-rex here in both feathered and unfeathered versions. theses things move, have sound and you can change up the colors some. Just incredible!
