It's almost time to toss the doors open...
Fantasy Faire is coming. The eleven days of magic will take place April 21st – May 1st and the preparations are well under way.

A Year of Weekly Themes - Week 10 Theme - Rainbow

So, I have no excuse for this being two days late other then I simply forgot. Sorry! I'll try not to let it be this late again.
I wanted to find a nice rainbow filled sim for this theme, but I couldn't find anything So I chose the Black & White build I saw about on Ziki Questi's Blog as a contrast to the color of the rainbows. I believe it is at times used as a club space, but the chess themed build has some wonderful lighting and the chess pieces are just lovely. All my photos of it are here
The outfit was chosen so very deliberately I've been dying for a reason to wear this rainbow filled outfit by Devious Mind for a few years. This was a perfect time!
And for the record, I switched a different theme to rainbows after Deoridhe started doing the challenge as I know she loves rainbows!
And Relay season has started! If you can't donate here donate in world at one of the many kiosks you will find Rezed all over!

A Year of Weekly Themes - Week 9 Theme - Time

This was another theme I struggled with for the photo. I wanted a pose holding an hour glass but could not find one. The dress and the sim fit the theme though! I love this gown and have been saving it for this post. It's elegant yet ready for adventure at the same time.
I found the sim on the destination guide and it's an art build by SL artist Rebeca Bashly. I went to one of her earlier builds a while back, but I don't think I ever wrote up a blog post about it. It was called "When Life Brings You Apples ... Run!". This one is called Chronophobia and is meant to be a meditation on the ravages of time.
There's not a whole lot to the build, but it is quite well done, if a bit creepy. I don't have a whole lot of photos but they are all at this link
