You can see all of my photos of the sim at this link

I hardly know where to start with this breathtaking sim. I love Elicio's use of textures and subtle glow. And the tree that is the focal point is The sim is divided into Seelie and Unseelie courts, IE "good" faries and "Bad" Fairies. The Seelie side green and full of life, the Unseelie dark and decaying.

Bonus you CAN own that tree, but at the size it is. He hasn't rebuilt it to be smaller. Also you can buy the houses, which I have preordered already!

There, really isn't much I CAN saw about this sim that will do it justice. Here are some photos, more on the link above, but GO SEE IT! Before it vanishes!

I would really love to see what would happen if Elicio and Lunar collaborated together.

Fantasy Faire 2014 Sim - Mourningvale Thicket

I have returned from the Oklahoma Renaissance Faire. So now it is time to bring you the next Fantsy Farie sim Mourningvale Thicket. It is designed by Searlait Nitschke of Roawenwood, who is also the Sim sponsor.

You can see all of my photos of the sim at this link

Mourningvale Thicket is a dark sim, a burned out forest with ruins buildings scattered about. But even in the ruins life is returning, Roses have started to take over the blackened trees and a troop of gypsies have set up camp. The effect is quite mysterious and makes you wonder just what caused the fire, why are the gypies here in a place so devoid of life, and whats with the tall mountain barren mountain in the middle.

Apparently a lot of my photos got taken before the sim's windlight was set so it looks so different now, with a foggy, smokey setting. Proof that the right windlight really changes a sim's atmosphere. A few of my later photos are with the windlight so will see the difference.

Cavernna Obscurea, Sublime Shroud Kreations, and meadowWorks on Blackwater Glen Fantasy Faire Sim

Blackwater Glenn boasts a number of excellent Shops. You can get the full list at this page

Elvina Ewing of Caverna Obscura has been a longtime Favorite Creator of mine. None of her items in the Relay vendors are faire Exclusives or new to the farie, which means I had them already. But I am showing off one of them as it's just stunning. It's the newest addition to her dryad line, a Sakrua Dryad outfit. Which so far is my favorite of all the dryad outfits she's created

I found a new to me creator Sublime Shroud Kreations, who is sharing the booth with De La Soul, and quite enjoy the Relay offerings.

First is the*SSK* RFL Special Edition Moroi Ensemble, which is a lovely dark purple skirt.

And the other one I have to show you is the *SSK* RFL Special Edition Daenarys Ensemble, a skirt and top set in purple and teal.

Lastly I have to show you some of the offerings by meadowWorks talented creator Garvie Garzo. I met her at last years Fantasy Faire when she was just starting her store, and let me tell you, her work which was already good then, has just improved. She creates items for the home and mostly garden, all original scuplts, meshes and textures. Stunningly beautiful textures! Her store on the sim is a delight to visit as all her items are rezed on display.

First I will show you Three items in one photo. Dryad ~ Wisteria, Mermaid ~ Basking ~ Aqua Transport, and Nixie Pond & Fountain ReZzer. All are offerings in relay vendors. The mermaid in the pond is script resizable so you can make her full sized or fit her down into the cute Nixie pond.

And my favorite of her offerings is this ADORABLE set of Bunny lanterns, which I am sure will be one of her most popular items this faire. They are just way to cute!

And with this readers, I will leave you till Sunday, or possibly Monday, as I am off to opening weekend of the Renaissance Faire I work at. If you have a free weekend this Month and live near it come by the Oklahoma Renaissance Faire and come find me in the Fairy Glen! I'm the one in the pink with the cat tail!

Blackwater Glenn is a wonderfully swampy sim with scatters of glowing mushrooms about. It is also home to one of the three Faire Roleplays going on. Pirates of the Trade Winds

I, as it is known, have a weakness for fun mushrooms so I love the groupings scattered about this sim

This large grouping is a special favorite. Its just so amazing!

Evie’s Closet, Balderdash, Decadent Courtesan, and Musa on the Sanctum Fantasy Faire Sim.

Now that I have shown you the sim it's time to see what some of the Relay offerings you can buy on it are! Again you can get a list of all the stores on the Sanctum sim at this link and it has links to each creators main store.

I have two dresses, one pose maker and one necklace to show off to you!

Lets start with a dress by one of my all time Favorite designers, Evangeline Miles

It is a recolor of one of her new gowns, and this color is exclusive to Relay. The gown is called Ceridwen, it's mesh and comes in several sizes and the Relay shade is several muted Purples. It's a stunning graceful gown that to me is akin to something a Muse would wear.

I also have on a necklace from Balderdash by Saiyge Lotus called The Bit of Hope Necklace. When I saw she had a hope necklace I had to have it.

And I am using one of two Relay poses by Muse Poses. They come with glowing magical orbs and are quite lovely. The other pose I used in my other photo.

The second gown is by a new to me store called Decadent Courtesan By Vanyi AKA Kitty Moon. It is called simply KM Backless Purple - RFL. Her store on Sanctum has a wide variety of other offerings as well.

The quality is quite good and I love how nicely it drapes. Do go check her out!

Fantasy Faire 2014 Sim - Sanctum

The first of the shopping sims I bring you is Sanctum. A floating island city over lava fields. It was designed and built by the amazing Alia Baroque and his shop Fallen Gods Inc. is the sim sponsor

All of my Sanctum photos are at this link

Sanctum is a sublime build that to me represents a safe spot in the middle of a horrible place. The floating buildings are accessed by a path of solid clouds going up from the two adjoining sims. They are a little hard to spot at first but very solid underfoot once you're on them. Once up there you will find stately marble buildings with the stores in them. Along with patches of green grass with happy sheep on them.

The Centerpiece of the sim is a stairway going up into Heaven, flanked on each side by NONE weeping angels. It leads up to a pair of locked golden gates. Which I assume must have somethign to do with one of the hunts that will happen later on in the run of the faire.

Fantasy Faire 2014 Sim -Fairelands Junction

Fairelands Junction is a sim you will find every year at Fantasy Faire. It serves as the central hub of the faire and also where they house the silent auction items. It is again designed by Saiyge Lotus of Balderdash. Who has done a wonderful job taking what she did last year and expanding upon it. Bringing us a watery yet beautiful forest. Filled with twisting walkways, magical lotus blossoms, floating luminary, and glowing stones.

This year the portals to the sims are housed in a tangle of roots in front of a cave. Each one showing a scene from the awaiting sim

Last year she created stunning a wall of candles. It is back this year expanded upon and used to create a Fen of Remembrance. I found it a very soothing place to sit and just, well remember, for a while.
