A Shopping Region
Through fog, wild ivy and winding paths, a hidden entrance leads into a valley. Surrounded by high mountains you can see a village in the distance. Lamps shine brightly and chanting can be heard faintly on the wind. The paths to get there are lit with lanterns and fireflies scurry around the light.
But this village is cursed. The village was once in a battle between good and evil. Witches took over the power over the citizens. They fought fiercely to survive. When, after many years, neither good nor evil triumphed, the witches cursed the village and its citizens.
The village must remain unchanged and invisible to the outside world, except for twenty-one special days every hundred years when it can be seen and even visited by outsiders. This day is a moment of joy and celebration. But none of the villagers can leave the place. If someone does that, the spell would be broken and the village and all of its inhabitants will disappear into the Mists forever.
*Official text from the Fantasy Faire page*You step out of the cold and into the warmth of the Fairelands own version of Brigadoon! Only this time instead of the Scottish Highlands you get Bavaria Germany. Dirt paths take you through the shops and also into a forest filled with animals and streams. Flowers abound all over the place, both wild and in pots. Its really just a lovely calming sim I could live in.
Also it has THE COW. I love it and need it. But I can't FIND it to buy ARGH I hope it gets put out soon!
