Lets start of with a lovely gown called Ostara by John Dee's emporium. I love the colors on this gown,and it comes with the matching sun crown that follows the motif on the dress. you can also pick up a bunny or a chick follower made to go with it. But as i was hovering in the air they looked odd in the photo so I left them off. I liked this gown in part for its mythological background, Ostara is a Germanic spring goddess for those that don't know.

And here we have another spring gown from the winter sim. This time it's Dress me Designs's Butterflies of spring gown. Which of course I had to have. Some of the butterflies on the mesh gown are 3d. I paired it with a necklace from Empyrean Forge called Pikorua Necklace, which I liked because it was more then just the carved single charm, but the feather charms as well.

And lastly I have to show you an outfit put together by two different designers that seem like they where just MADE to go together. The purple leather and lace catsuit is by NaLa and is called Fashion Nightfly, it comes with a cape and choices to have long or no sleeves and pants length. I paired it with the Minerva Boots and the, Dragonborn Jewelryby ALEGRIA. I think they go together perfectly!

Fantasy Faire 2015 Sim - Aurora

Aurora (by Beq Janus) – On a world plunged into ice age, men of science seek answers in the ethereal shimmering of the planets energy field. Meanwhile the Mystics tell tales of the unweaver at whose feet they lay the blame for their ice-age, their hopes for salvation lie in legends of heroes, ancient tales of lands across the dimensions, their faith hangs on finding the lost knowledge that can bring forth the confluence. The two factions, poles apart in their beliefs are about come together as myth and machine meet beneath the Northern Lights.

The polar sim of Aurora is one of the sims hosting one of three Fairelands Roleplays. This one put on by the NeoVictorian's and is called White Wedding. You can learn more about it's background, plot line and when events take place on this page. I haven't been able to follow any of the events but it looks like a rather interesting one!

The sim itself is a mix of polar beauty and Steampunk creativity. The aurora Borealis, shimmer above the sim, which is a marvel of snow and ice. Some buildings made of snow and ice, others of tents, and the main building man made materials and giant crystals. No clue what the central device is for, the Roleplay or the Faire Hunt which I have not covered yet. But its breathtaking with its light beams, rotating crystal thing and a large Fantasy Faire logo in the middle. Oh and the GIANT Jacob's ladder pulsing up the spires of the main building.

One last thing, watch out for the penguins and the polar bears..yes I know they should not be in the same location, its a FANTASY polar region!

Tangleshimmer Grove Creators - Apsara, Stargazer, Analog Dog, Thatchick, and more

This delightful bohemian gown is by Apsara and is called Leela. I really like the two tones separated by the tapestry patterns. About my neck is a gatcha necklace by ThatChick called CP Butterfly Necklace, it comes in a white range of colors.. And my hair is one of Analog Dog's Relay offerings called Sola, it comes with the headband!

This is another rather bohemian style dress, with some fae leanings by ImmateriA called Tylwyth Teg . The Relay offering comes with pink or orange roses and of course I wore the pink. I believe the orange is a slightly darker shade of green as well. But you get both colors when you buy it. And I am also wearing the other Analog Dog hair, A fun whimsical style called Petula. I may have to go pick it up in a darker red later, if it is offered in a darker red.

The Muses have three Relay offerings this year and I chose the one called Coil to show off here. I really like the two mixes of texutres with the red and the black.

And lastly for the clothing, we have my favorite outfit from Tangleshimmer Grove, the simply named Fairy Outfit by Stargazer creations. It's such a fun layered petal look!

Here we have Four items by Three creators. The Muses gave us a Midsummer themed offering with all of their Relay items, Showing here are Titania's Feast, and Titania's final Chaise, both items are going to go into my tower in Steelhead. You can also pick up Oxlips, Nodding Violet and Wild Tyme plants.

The birdhouse and flowers shown though, are by Petite Plunder & Immortals Inspirations and is just one of their many items you can get! I really liked the colors of this one though.

And hovering in the air above them all is a De Baza - Caged Dungeon Candles, in the relay coloring of Purple.

I got smanchy with the editing for this shot. All three pose prop items are by thatChick, Showing here are Mesh Giant Gem Seat Set - Blue, King Under the Mountain Throne (mc) and Pretty Bubbles. the last of them I think is meant more for Petites then human sized avatars. But they all come with a wide range of poses and are quite fun.

Tangleshimmer Grove (by Searlait Nitschke) – Deep in the heart of the wood is the secret place of Fairies. Golden light bathes the lush green as flowers dance and the early morning dew lays a glistening shimmer over the world.

Tangleshimmer Grove is a calm peaceful woods, with a wide stream running through it. It was a nice rest after the last stunning sims. Breathtaking in its own simplified way. And it has a fairy mushroom circle so that makes it a great sim! I like the pink trees at each entrance, and the winding stream has lovely lotus flowers in it.

And as I am sitting on a purple mushroom in Tangleshimmer, writing this post, listening to Fantasy faire radio. I learned that a beloved resident of Second Life, Soliel Snook, lost her fight to cancer just this past Friday. A sad reminder of WHY we do this, Why Fantasy Faire exists, why we Relay. To find that cure, so that no one has to hear the words "You have cancer" with fear anymore.

We WILL win this battle! And it is through the help of Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society that it will happen. But we will do it having fun and making others simple and feel loved and cared for. Which is what Fantasy faire does. Brings magic to the fight. So far just in three and a half days Fantasy Faire 2015 has raised around $13,631 USD for RFL. And this years Total so far for Relay for Life of Second Life is $151,225 US. Sylvan of Spells creators - BlueMoon, Gypsy wolf, TempT and more

This lovely gown by BlueMoon enterprise is called Lady Grace, and it is such a decadent gown. The creator stated that she tries to use period correct fabrics and trims,and it shows in the lushness of the tapestry pattern on this gown. And I love the muted colors.

This glittery dress from Tayren's Fantasy Fashions, called GlitterFae, is actually part of a complete fairy Avatar. I only wore the Dress, necklace, wreath and hair for this shot, but it also comes with everything you need for an out of the box avatar. Skin, eyes, shoes, wings, shape, and more!

The Gypsy Queen dress from Gypsy wolf is quite fun in its understated browns and grays colors. And it comes with a jingle coin belt. I love the patterns on the fabrics and the sleeves.

This sexy gown is by Independent Objects and is called Queen of Lunimba. The jewelry, also under the same name, is sold separately. I like the use of materials on the bra. The Dagger at my hip is also available, it's by Snoodle's and is called Ornate Throwing Dagger. You're able to draw and use in in Role play. Very well done.

The last dress I have for you is by TempT and is their Niobe Fae Dress. An adorable off the shoulder fairy gown. I love the textures on the silk look lower half and the embroidery on the top.

On the left you have the Bard's Stage by Swan. The front curtains open and close, the lights can be moved about and I am standing on an animation spot with a lot of different animations for telling your tale.

On the right is Gypsy Wolf's Gypsy Rest Tent. Inside is a comfy pile of pillows and some refreshments.

Fantasy Faire 2015 Sim - Sylvan of Spells

Sylvan of Spells (by Sweetgwendoline Bailey/Eldowyn Inshan) – Enchanted grove where our stories are collected and nurtured by mystic librarians. Books, scrolls and parchment litter the ground, the debris of the Forest of Enlightenment.

Oh where to start on this sim. It's got so many little things to spot. Elemental trees, giant snakes, book Moths, paper ships, and books, Books EVERYEWHERE! Which is fitting as this is the sim that the new Literary Festival is being held on. Oh and Tuesday is a Terry Practett Festivle, In honor of what would have been his 67th birthday. I shall be going to that for sure!

There is also a small sim specific mini hunt. Look for the giant book near each of the entrances for directions. It's very simple and the prizes are cute.

As for the sim, wow the dual designers really outdid themselves. It's such a whimcisal place. And so many things to spot. I love the Book Moths that fly above the Storytelling area. And the texture animation on the giant snake will give you the willies. Critters can be spoted in the woods, you just have to look about. And the shops are lovely wooden things with books as parts of the building.

Oh and remember to look up, I almost missed a grand old tree in the middle!

Ichi-go Ichi-e creators - Figment, PoshTale, BLD and more

All of the dress designers I have for this sim are new to me so I'm going alphabetical.

This cute flower like dress is by ~BLD~ and called the Tulip dress, I'm wearing the Relay color called "Hope". It's a fun poofy dress with materials in use on it so it has a great look to it. Around my neck is another relay offering by a store called Zyn and it is their Elven Chakrah Amulet. A delicate necklace with stones in the colors of the chakrahs on it. Very pretty.

And here we have a gown by Figment! Called Cynosure Dress. It is not a relay offering though it should be! I can't remember what they are offering but I liked this better. Or I needed more dresses to show off and picked that one.ANYWAY. I love how the petals lay and the gold on them. The necklace I am wearing is a relay item by Dragon Magick Wares called Mystical Necklace. It's a simple two toned crystal point. Also the hair is another of Wasabi Pill Relay hairs, called Jasmine. It showed up in my inventory after I had taken the photos on Odyssey so it ended up here..

And lastly for the gowns I have this stunning number by PoshTale called Cequi. It comes with a hud to change colors, the bracers and a collar. I chose the Relay appropriate coloring of Purple, but there are a number of others.

And now we go onto some Home and Garden items you can pick up on Ichi-go Ichi-e

In this shot are items by three vendors, the Mystic Meadow" Garden Gazebo and Mystic Meadow" Garden Pond- are by [CIRCA] . The lovely tea set is by Voidheart and has the Fantasy faire logo on it! *close up photo here* And the purple mushrooms are by Polenth's Mushporium

Next up is a tiny but lovely little house by Dragon Magick Wares called the Temple Of The Moon. it would make a good little vacation cottage someplace.

And lastly, You can take home part of the sim! The Looking Glass has four items up for sale in Relay vendors. Hearts like China Roses, Sakura Lovers Tree, Sakura Meditation Pod and Bullrushes, and Woodlands Tea Settings. I don't know about you but I LOVE being able to take a part of the Fairelands home with me like this!

So, now get off to the dreamy sim of Ichi-go Ichi-e and do some Relay Shopping!

Fantasy Faire 2015 Sim - Ichi-go Ichi-e

Ichi-go Ichi-e (by Sharni Azalee) – Let your imagination fly you to a land where anything is possible. Walk on water among pink clouds in this surreal landscape where large sakura flowers and other exotic flora tower over you in a beautiful dream forest of pinks and grays and fawn.

Ichi-go Ichi-e is one of those sims that just take your breath away with their dreamlike quality. The dark wind light with a rising sun that highlights the enormous sakrua tree is just the icing on the cake. The build has shops along the edges in small cave like areas, the entrances flanked by tress and columns.

Flying about the sim are large petals, even larger dragon flies, transparent butterflies and tiny Fireflies. And if you look closely you'll spot some tiny sakrua fairies hovering about in places. You can also have tea with them under the falling petals of the giant sakura tree.

Scattered among the giant flowers and magical mushrooms are fallen orbs, some of which you can sit in and meditate while watching the faire folk go about their day. There are also a few other surprises to find as you look around.

All in all its just a stunning, magical sim. Sharni has done an amazing job.

Odyssey creators - Evie's Closet, Spyralle, Wasabi Pills, FAIDA, and Musa

Time to highlight some of the creative and generous vendors of Fantasy faire. These ones can be found on the Odyssey sim.

I try to show off the items they are offering in their relay vendors. But sometimes I likes something else more, or its easier to show off then the relay item. But all vendors have at least two items for sale with 100% proceeds going to Relay for Life of Secondlife.

I shall start by showing off the gown by one of my favorite dress makers ever, Evie's closet.

Her offer this year is a special color of a new gown called Caoimhe. You can also get matching shoes and wings to go with it. But I am just in the gown. It is mesh and the sleeves and corset are separate from the dress. So if you want you can wear it with out them. Pose is by Musa, who has a store on Odyssey, as are all the poses in this post, but none of them are Relay offerings.

Next up is Spyralle's Owl Moon gown in a special relay coloring called Midsummer Night. Like all of Spyralle's items, its textured in their signature fractal patterns. This one in shades of purple and blue, and you can also pick it up in an array of other colors themed to the Months, the collection there has not been fully released yet. I also am wearing one of Wasabi Pills Relay offerings for my Hair, Called Jack. A cute short hair cut that would work for males or females. It's none rigged mesh so I could resize it to fit YAY!

Lastly we have the [FAIDA] Calypso gown in Passion. The other Relay color of the same gown is called Sin and it's black. They have a number of other outfits as Relay offerings as well. I am not familiar with the designer so I can not speak a lot about them. But this gown is quality mesh with great texturing.

Fantasy Faire 2015 Sim - Odyssey

Odyssey (by Alia Baroque) – “As you set out on your journey to Ithaca, pray that your journey be a long one, filled with adventure, filled with discovery.” Barry B. Powell, Classical Myth

The first shopping sim on my trip around the Fairelands is the white marbled halls of Odyssey. Keeping with the mer theme started in the Junction, Alia's build makes you feel like you are in the halls of Atlantis risen up from the depths off the cost of Greece, long ago enough for grass and trees to have grown in places. Tall marbled buildings grow up towards the sky, while the waves lap at the stairs to the shops.

Twin mermaid fountains flank the sides of the sim, while in the middle a pair of hippocampus statues recline in the setting sun. Way above it all magic twists and turns it's way out of a cliff side, surrounded by pillars. Who knows what it means. And if you go for a swim, you may find some tunnels under the water.

All in all, its a breathtaking sim, in Alia's unmistakable style, and I am sure it has secrets it still has yet to reveal.
