Centuries ago, an ancient civilization, now lost to the sands of time and the encroaching desert, thrived around an oasis. Historical records reveal that a catastrophic drought forced these people to abandon their homes.
Subsequently, some lost travellers stumbled upon this once-forsaken oasis, mysteriously finding one of the wells beginning to refill and allowing them to survive. In time these travellers found other nomads and traders and made a secret market in the deep desert where people from disparate parts of their scattered clans can gather to trade and celebrate together.

Sunstone Oasis is a simple but stunning sim. A half deserted desert town, but one that is, for the moment anyway, bustling with new arrivals for the market. You walk along the walls of the main buildings and down stairs to the massive pool that is filled by water from the mountains via an aqueduct.
On the edges in the older parts of the town are market stalls. Some smaller then others. Seemly run by a group of kids. The other? Traveled in recently.
But be wary while you explore! Sand storms can happen!
This sim is worth chilling about in for a while as the EEP for it is just amazing. I got distracted from photo taking due to it. You can watch the moon and sun rise and at times it will trigger legit sandstorms that change how the sim looks. PLUS you can buy this in the main shop! It comes with all the levels. The land setting version, sand storms to put about AND an eclipse version of it!
