“Life is like a game of chess. To win you have to make a move. Knowing which move to make comes with insight and knowledge, and by learning the lessons that are accumulated along the way. We become each and every piece within the game called life.” The quote from Allan Rufus describes an insight into J’adoube. Some believe it may have been where giants played, or a lost civilization was built to worship the game. From its cascading fountains and chess box stores, to the massive sunken chessboard in its center made of puzzle pieces, your imagination builds. Now it is your move to decide what J’adoube is to you.

I've been so eager to get to explore this sim since I saw it before faire opened. Its just so much eclectic fun! The Eep is just AMAZING, and a lot of fun to watch as it swirls into place when you enter the sim. The sepia tones to most of the build with splaces of purples and the intense shade of blue for the water is really eye catching. Plus its by the creative minds behind The Looking Glass and I always love their sims!

There are Chess pieces controlled by fae scatted about the build, Fae on boats, fae dancing. Its just a lot of fae! I love the two at the sim border between The Wandering wood and J`adoube ones a chess fae ones a normal on! And the blending between the two sims is just, an unexpected bit or art!.

There is a history of Fantasy Faire on the sim. They have a wal of maps of all the faires and the posters for all the faires. And I found the one from the year I started blogging faire. And turns out THIS year is my TENTH YEAR of blogging fantasy faire! For some reason I thought if I started in 2012 2012 would be the tenth year..no that will be the 11th!

Visit this sim, explore. shop, make sure you look around the middle! Get yer feet wet, Play chess!
